Finland is focusing on the multiple press and other visits and events in connection to the celebrations of 100 years of Finnish independency. Very many of these take place in summer time and this prioritization makes it impossible for us to organize the FCP this year.
Every stone has been turned in our quest to find a way, but unfortunately the Communications Department of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland has to tell you, that there will be no Foreign Correspondents Programme in August 2017.
We will be doing an evaluation of the whole programme, and hopefully will be able to tell you more news about 2018 by the end of this year.
